Wonderful, lovely evening at Alumni Field.
The Swamp Bats doubled the Upper Valley Nighthawks 10-5.

The night was sponsored by Ace Rental. Here, Ribby supervises the Ace Rental bounce house.

Given that there are two, maybe we should say "bounce homes".

As of Wednesday afternoon, Brandon Smith has set a league record or Runs Batted In, has set a team record for hits and going into Wednesday night, has 11 Home runs (tied for league-lead) and is batting 373 ! MichaelMcMahon of the Keene Sentinel and Swamp Bats manager Lyndon Coleman have brought up the idea that Brandon Smith should be the Most Valuable Player of the NECBL. That’s a heck of an idea. The Pride of Georgetown, Indiana Smith’s a heckuva player, a great ambassador for the Swamp Bats, did NOT miss a beat when he switched from 1st to 3 rd base and been a leader on the field and a great teammate.
