After a tough loss last night, the Bats have the day off Monday.

Winnipesaukee visits Tuesday night, the first of three Muskrats matches in a week.

Tuesday is our celebration of Reading with Ribby, honoring the youngsters who met the reading goals of Ribby's program.

As of Wednesday afternoon, Brandon Smith has set a league record or Runs Batted In, has set a team record for hits and going into Wednesday night, has 11 Home runs (tied for league-lead) and is batting 373 ! MichaelMcMahon of the Keene Sentinel and Swamp Bats manager Lyndon Coleman have brought up the idea that Brandon Smith should be the Most Valuable Player of the NECBL. That’s a heck of an idea. The Pride of Georgetown, Indiana Smith’s a heckuva player, a great ambassador for the Swamp Bats, did NOT miss a beat when he switched from 1st to 3 rd base and been a leader on the field and a great teammate.
