As of Wednesday afternoon, Brandon Smith has set a league record or Runs Batted In, has set a team record for hits and going into Wednesday night, has 11 Home runs (tied for league-lead) and is batting 373 ! MichaelMcMahon of the Keene Sentinel and Swamp Bats manager Lyndon Coleman have brought up the idea that Brandon Smith should be the Most Valuable Player of the NECBL. That’s a heck of an idea. Plus, he is always smiling! This blog and your twitter maven* support Brandon Smith for NECBL Most Valuable Player. *Joe Fitzhenry tweets also. I don't mean to speak for him but, c'mon!
