Tough Night

  There are no faint hearts amongst Swamp Bats fans. After all that rain, over 500 hearty souls turned out for Fan Appreciation night at Alumni Field. Your Swamp Bats took it on the chin, 9-2 to the Sanford Mainers. This sets up the Friday rematch in Maine for the wildcard game. oude came in relief after three inni8ngs and did a superb job.   If you can’t make the trip, we invite you to listen with Joe Fitzhenry and Josh Caredeo on 104.1FM/1220 AM. Starting pitcher Erick Zecha had a rough night, the Moose scored 7 runs, all with 2 out, before he exited after 3 innings. Andrew Houde came pitched 6 innings of stellar relief.
